Basketballtek Academy - Yoga Thursdays with Simon Kerle from RAW power yoga
Yoga is for everyone, athletes included. Yoga works on strength, flexibility, balance, agility, endurance, core, and overall strength, among other things. Any athlete could benefit hugely by adding yoga to her or his training regimen.
Simon Kerle of RAW power yoga conducted our first yoga class of 2016 today. After 4 days of conditioning and scrimmaging in the humidity we've had this week it was probably a welcomed change of pace.
On top of the basketball and study programs at Basketballtek Academy, students also have access to a weights gym, an Olympic size swimming pool as well as the yoga classes to provide all the resources necessary to help our athletes be all that they can be.
