BLIA Cup Tournament Taiwan Tour (July-August)
For the past three years, Brian Kerle Basketball has proudly travelled to Taiwan to compete in the BLIA Cup, which is usually held between the end of June and August. The tournament gives our athletes the opportunity to experience international basketball, compete against quality opposition and represent the BK family on the world stage. The BLIA Cup has become an important part of our international pathway, and we look forward to continuing to compete for years to come.
Roxas City Invitational Phillipines Tour (August)
For the first time Brian Kerle Basketball Academy will be attending the Roxas City Invitational Tour, flying out on the 19th of August and returning on the 29th of August. We are extremely privileged to be invited to this tournament and are excited to have the opportunity to play against some of the Phillipines best Colleges in the country.
U19 Taiwan Tour (December)
The U19 December Taiwan Tour has become a staple for Brian Kerle Basketball's International Tours, the past 3 Decembers we have had our Taiwan Tours for our U19 age group for both girls and boys. This December Tour gives our athletes a chance to feel what it's like to play on the international stage and get exposure to the Taiwanese Culture. This year the Academy will be taking two Boys teams and a Girls teams.
BK Invitational Tournament (September)
This September Brian Kerle Basketball is hosting an invitational tournament from the 3rd September to the 6th September at Saint James College in Spring Hill. The tournament will host 10 teams ranging from Brisbane Based teams, Regional teams such as Wide bay and Thursday Island and International teams from the Phillipines and Papua New Guinea.
NAIDOC 3 x 3 Tournament (July)
The Brian Kerle Basketball NAIDOC 3x3 Tournament brings together basketball, culture and community to celebrate NAIDOC Week and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. With over 110 teams participating, the free event features 3x3 basketball, cultural activities, Indigenous art, market stalls, entertainment and special guests. The tournament continues to use sport as a powerful platform to promote inclusion, connection and celebrate culture within the community.
